The founders of Resilient Women's Organization are sisters who grew up around poverty and the struggles a hardworking single mother of four goes through.

It's easy to lose all hope of a better life if there is nobody to give you a hand. They consider themselves very lucky they had a mother, unlike the many girls and young women they grew up around. Women, particularly single unemployed young mothers, are especially vulnerable -- the girls they used to play hide & seek with became mothers when they were still children themselves -- the cycle continues with their daughters.

 

With Resilient Women's Organization, they aim to break this cycle and change the lives of the women in the community.
